Legacy Collections was founded by Dawah power couple  Ustadh Jalal ibn Sa’eed Mohabbat and Momtahena Jaigirdar

Who We Are?

Pioneers of the 1Eid Project  and   Al Fitrah Academy they have committed themselves whole heartedly towards making Eid great again and breaking down the barriers that hinder Muslims towards developing a deeper relationship with Allah.

These projects are driven and funded by donations and committed volunteers, but it’s not enough. Projects such as the 1Eid  require substantial capital investment and as generous as our community is, there’s so much more we need to do.

Legacy Collections serves as a means to fund these projects. Every penny earned is donated towards expanding our Dawah and making Eid bigger than Christmas!

Our Legacy Gift Box

The best investment we can make is towards our Akhirah. Legacy Quran is not just a gift set or an easy to ready Quran. Its a means to leave behind Saddaqah Jariah so that when we do leave this temporary world, our children or grandchildren can pick up the manuscripts we left behind as a guide and contact between us.

Our Mission

To encourage and influence non Arab speaking Muslims to engage in understanding the words of Allah and inspire families to build a lasting relationship with the book of Allah.

About Us

Legacy Collections is a small to medium-sized business built on a profound mission, to fund Dawah and charitable work within the UK. Unlike conventional businesses, Legacy Collections was not created solely for profit but as a means to serve the Muslim community, nurture Islamic identity, and make faith more accessible and engaging for English-speaking Muslims.

The inspiration behind Legacy Collections came from a deeply personal journey. As a mother raising children in the UK, I understood firsthand the challenges British-born Muslims face in developing a meaningful connection with the Quran. Many were reading it, but without truly internalizing its message. It was often approached as a ritual rather than a transformative experience, read in Arabic without comprehension. In contrast, families would immerse themselves in books like Harry Potter together, yet the Quran, the ultimate source of guidance, was seldom read as a collective experience.

I wanted to change that. My goal was to create a keepsake product that would bring families together around the Quran, fostering not just reading but deep engagement, discussion, and reflection. The idea was simple but powerful: instead of a Saturday movie night, why not a Saturday Quran journaling night? A family could gather, open a beautifully designed box, take out a Quran with clear and accessible translation, and use guided journaling to reflect on its teachings. Everyone would take turns reading, writing their insights, and growing together in their faith.

To make this experience even more accessible, I developed educational aids, including video content, to support those new to their Islamic journey. The initiative wasn’t just about reading, it was about creating cherished moments, lifelong learning, and a deep-rooted love for the Quran.

From this core concept, Legacy Collections expanded, introducing products that further beautified and strengthened the Islamic identity of children. Our offerings include carry case Qurans, elegant prayer mats, posters, and other faith-centered products designed to make Islam a tangible, joyful part of everyday life. Each item was created with the intention of making religious practice more engaging, relatable, and meaningful for young Muslims growing up in a Western society.

The impact of Legacy Collections has been remarkable. We have sold countless products, and every penny of our proceeds has gone towards funding Dawah initiatives, Islamic education events, community cohesion projects, and large-scale Eid celebrations across the UK. Our mission has always been to help Muslims strengthen their faith, cultivate a strong sense of belonging, and embrace their religious identity with confidence without feeling alienated.

What makes Legacy Collections truly unique is its unwavering commitment to serving the community. It is an innovative business model, one that prioritizes social good over profit, actively working to uplift and inspire the next generation of British Muslims. As a female-led business, built by a mother raising eight children in the Western world, it stands as a testament to the power of lived experience in creating meaningful solutions. These are real challenges that I, like many Muslim parents, have faced and Legacy Collections exists to address them.

For these reasons, I believe Legacy Collections is truly deserving of this award. It is not just a business; it is a movement, a heartfelt effort to fix gaps in society, strengthen faith, and nurture a love for Islam within the hearts of individuals and families across the UK.
